WHEN THE STARS GO OUT

Produced as a workshop production by Bright Alchemy Theatre at the Mead Theatre Lab at Flashpoint in September, 2011

The continuing story of Naomi (the heroine of A Cre@tion Story For Naomi), a woman on the verge of motherhood—something she did not plan, and does not think she’s ready for. Naomi is forced to deal with the death of her best friend, the neuroticism of her mother and the absence of her husband—an astronaut on a mission to the edge of the solar system—who might never return home. Straddling the line between high science and modern myth, this play examines just what it means to face the end of your world as you know it.

This play was created and workshopped along with the company members of Bright Alchemy Theatre.  ( 1 act, 75 min.)
